Windsor Dials 1&2

Project Description

A strip out of the two, 3 storey office building in Windsor for refurbishment. The strip comprised removal of all fixtures, fittings & finishes back to a clean shell, ready for refurbishment works and new floor. All waste had to be removed via designated lifts, which had to be maintained during works ready to be handed over at end of project. Some services were protected within risers. A protected walkway had to be laid to protect external walkways and loading platform was erected to allow materials to be loaded. Lifts were removed as part of the scope on completion. The works were delivered within the 12-week programme to a high standard, without impacting on local residents and live Car Park used by main station.

Challenges Faced:
• Located near main railway station.
• Shared road access and adjacent live public car
park.
• Services to be protected within risers and fire
alarms and lighting maintained for insurance and
safety.
• All waste had to be planned and removed across a
protected floor.
